If it seems like we’re located in the middle of no where, well, that’s because we are! But have no fear, our wilderness location is within easy reach of Vancouver and surrounding areas.

Avoid the ferry crowds, spend less time travelling, and make the most of every minute of your precious island time! Afterall, no trip to British Columbia would be complete without a thrilling ride over the spectacular coastal mountains and inlets, in an iconic Beaver de Havilland seaplane. Local airlines have scheduled flights to Sechelt, only a short 15 minutes flying time from Vancouver, Vancouver Airport Victoria and Nanaimo. Prime rentals can have a vehicle waiting for you at the float plane terminal (see link above) or, charter flights are also available, depending upon the numbers in your group, from Sechelt or Vancouver straight to our dock. Sunshine Coast Air

A magical trip to the Sunshine Coast starts with waving goodbye to the city, and a 40 minute BC Ferry crossing from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale. Then a lesuirely 90 minute drive up the scenic Highway 1 will bring you to our small community of Egmont. Here you can pick up any last minute snacks & drinks from the historic Bathgates General Store. There’s plenty of off-road parking within walking distance of the Government Dock where we will meet you. BC Ferries sail from Horseshoe Bay every 2 hours, and reservations are recommended during the busy summer weekends if you are traveling by car. Alternatively, foot passenger boarding is pretty much guaranteed. Prime Rentals will deliver and pick up vehicles from Langdale ferry terminal. If arriving from Powell River, a 50 minute ferry ride from Saltery Bay will bring you Earls Cove, then Egmont is a short 10 minute drive. Ferry times vary throughout the season so please check schedules and plan early to avoid queues. For more information check the links below:

From May onwards, during the summer months, Sunshine Coast Connector offers a daily bus service from Langdale to Powell River with drop off in downtown Egmont available on request. Foot passenger ferry fares are not included.
